DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means you pay the destination duties and taxes up-front at checkout. The recipient gets the parcel with no extra invoice. DAP (Delivered At Place) means the recipient pays duties on arrival. DDP is what customers expect from a “premium” sender; DAP is cheaper to ship but causes friction.
